Last updated: February 17, 2026

1. Introduction

Boosta ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the Boosta mobile application and related services (the "Service"), is committed to the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).

This AML Policy outlines the procedures and controls we have in place to detect, prevent, and report money laundering and terrorist financing activities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all users, employees, contractors, and partners who engage with the Service. It covers all transactions, business relationships, and activities conducted through or in connection with Boosta.

3. Risk-Based Approach

We adopt a risk-based approach to AML/CFT compliance, which means we assess and manage the money laundering and terrorist financing risks associated with our Service. This includes:

  • Identifying and assessing risks specific to our business model and user base
  • Implementing proportionate measures to mitigate identified risks
  • Regularly reviewing and updating our risk assessments
  • Allocating appropriate resources to higher-risk areas

4. Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

We conduct customer due diligence to verify the identity of our users and understand the nature of their activities. Our CDD measures include:

  • Identity Verification: Collecting and verifying user identity information during account registration
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously monitoring user transactions and activities for suspicious patterns
  • Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Applying additional scrutiny to higher-risk users, transactions, or jurisdictions
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of user identification and transaction data as required by law

5. Transaction Monitoring

We employ systems and procedures to monitor transactions for unusual or suspicious activity, including:

  • Automated monitoring of transaction patterns and thresholds
  • Manual review of flagged transactions by trained compliance personnel
  • Investigation of unusual transaction volumes, frequencies, or patterns
  • Monitoring for transactions involving high-risk jurisdictions

6. Suspicious Activity Reporting

When suspicious activity is identified, we will:

  • Conduct an internal investigation to assess the nature of the activity
  • File Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with the relevant authorities as required by law
  • Cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulatory bodies during investigations
  • Maintain confidentiality of all reports and investigations in accordance with legal requirements

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on our platform:

  • Using the Service to launder money or finance terrorism
  • Structuring transactions to evade reporting requirements
  • Using fraudulent or stolen payment methods
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent controls or limits
  • Any activity designed to obscure the source, ownership, or destination of funds

Users found engaging in prohibited activities will have their accounts immediately suspended and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

8. Sanctions Compliance

We comply with all applicable sanctions laws and regulations. We screen users and transactions against relevant sanctions lists, including those maintained by:

  • The United Nations Security Council
  • The U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • The European Union
  • Other applicable national and international bodies

9. Employee Training

All employees and relevant contractors receive regular AML/CFT training covering:

  • Recognizing red flags and indicators of suspicious activity
  • Internal reporting procedures and escalation protocols
  • Regulatory requirements and legal obligations
  • Updates to AML laws, regulations, and best practices

10. Record Keeping

We maintain comprehensive records of all CDD information and transaction data for the minimum period required by applicable law (typically five to seven years). Records include:

  • User identification and verification documents
  • Transaction records and associated documentation
  • Internal reports, investigations, and SAR filings
  • Training records and compliance assessments
